Pay-as-you-go AI API pricing
Add credit once, from $5. Every request then costs the provider’s list price, per token or per unit, with nothing added. The only fee is 5% of each top-up, minimum $0.79, shown before you pay.
How credit works
Any amount from $5 to $500, in $5 steps. The 5% fee (minimum $0.79) is added at checkout; your balance gets the full amount.

- Model prices
- Each provider’s list price, per token or per unit. Cached input is billed at the provider’s lower cache rate.
- Service fee
- 5% on each top-up, minimum $0.79, shown before you pay. Nothing is added per request.
- Credit
- Paid credit never expires. No subscription, no automatic recharge.
- Welcome credit
- $1 when you sign up, and $5 more with your first top-up. Promotional credit is not refundable.
- Payment
- Card on Stripe Checkout, or PayPal, on their own pages. We never see your card number.
When your credit runs out
- Each request reserves its cost first. AI Runtime holds the most the request could cost, then bills what the provider actually reports when it finishes.
- At $0, requests are refused, not billed. When your balance can’t cover the hold, the API answers HTTP 429 with the code
quota_model_budget_exceeded. You never owe more than you paid. - Nothing recharges by itself. Add credit from your Dashboard and requests are accepted again once the payment is confirmed.
Refunds
Unused paid credit can be refunded within 14 days of the top-up, including its fee. Write to support with the payment date. Promotional credit ($1 at sign-up, $5 with the first top-up) is not refundable.

Pricing questions
Is there a markup on model prices?
No. Each request costs the provider’s list price. The only extra is the 5% fee (minimum $0.79) on each top-up, shown before you pay.
Does my credit expire?
Paid credit never expires. There is no subscription and no automatic recharge.
What happens when my balance runs out?
New requests are refused with HTTP 429 until you add credit; nothing is charged for a refused request, and you are never billed beyond your balance.
How do I pay?
By card on Stripe Checkout, or with PayPal, on their own pages. We never see your card number.
Can I get a refund?
Yes: unused paid credit within 14 days of the top-up, fee included. Promotional credit is not refundable.
